This flight tracks directly from Stawell towards the Beautiful Grampians, over the Historic Stawell Gold fields and 2 of our beautiful Grampians lakes, the largest gravity fed lake system in the southern hemisphere. Crossing the range north of Boroka lookout see another of our lakes, Lake Wartook the first water reserve built out side of Melbourne in the late 1800's.
Turning south the flight tracks past one of the most popular walks in the Grampians, the Pinnacle with the incredible Elephants Hide falling away towards the township of Halls Gap. From this location is one of the most incredible sights in the entire Grampians with 450 million years of rock formation evident in the Sera ranges as it stretches out to the south.

The flight proceeds through Rosea gap, past Mt Rosea, then with Mt William and the Major Mitchell plateau directly in front, the sheer size and grander of the Grampians is laid out around you.
The flight next turns left and tracks out over the southern edge of Lake Bellfield, over the top of Pomonal and directly back towards our base at Stawell Airfield along the historic Pipe track road, all the while with our detailed commentary on the incredible history and development of the area.

You will land at our secret location - this location is not open to the public and at first you may think we are dropping you off in the middle of nowhere - however all will be revealed shortly after you disembark from the helicopter.
What we can tell you: you will be treated to food and wine - and not just any wine! Very few people have been to this location and it serves a greater purpose than just wine and dining, but you will have to wait to find out what that is.
When ready, we will depart back to Stawell Airport. NOTE: 7 days notice must be given to book this flight or call us to see if a sorter time frame can be arranged.

Silo Art Flight

After departing Stawell airport, trekking north over farm land - this is a great opportunity to understand Western Victoria's wheat belt and learn all about the different stages of farming and the overall importance.


Before reaching your first Silo Art in the town of Sheep Hills. A town which hit it's peak population in 1921 with 269 people, still has a small community to which now has gained much attention with artwork painted by a Melbourne artist: Adnate, onto the silo. Making your journey back towards Stawell you will pass the Rupanyup's silos - very different from all the other silo's. This small town has a Russian influence with artist Julia Volchkova leaving her mark with a painting of two local young people - find out about them and why they were chosen to be painted as you orbit this street art & learn about this town of just 500 people before returning back to Stawell airport.
OR: option to add the third silo up to Brim - the silo that started it all. Artist Guido Van Helten put this small town of just 100 people on the international map when he painted the first of these non-functioning silo's. Flying over townships such as Warracknabeal when you add the extra silo and extend your flight time. See options during the check out process.

This tour offers wine tasting at three very different but beautiful wineries in the Pyrenees wine region, and the amazing ranges of the area from above as you travel in style.
On route receive live commentary from your pilot about the area with first stop at Taltarni. This very well known label across Victoria and Australia has 250 acres of vineyards so you are sure to taste a wine you like. Next we visit Blue Pyrenees, known for the French eccentricity creator, however 100% Australian owned since 2002. Enjoy wine tasting Take in the atmosphere & enjoy one of the most visited cellar doors in the Pyrenees. Plus enjoy lunch at Cafe Blue onsite with the The extraordinary Blue Pyrenees Platter is so much more than the de rigueur cheese and cold meat platter, this is a meal designed by our professional team delivering a wild ride for the taste buds and hearty satisfaction for the hungry. Last location will be Dog Rock Winery - an off grid vineyard which is located in a hard to reach location, however landing by helicopter is no problems. During your time at Dog Rock you will spend time with the wine maker and have a personal experience to learn all about how their award winning wines are developed.
